OpenAI drops sign up requirement for ChatGPT

April, 2 2024
LAHORE: (Web Desk) OpenAI has dropped the sign up requirement for ChatGPT, making the chatbot more accessible to users.
The company has revealed that more than 100 million users use the AI chatbot every week, hoping that the number would increase significantly after removing the need for signing up.
However, OpenAI will provide limited access to users with no accounts. Signing up will be required for full access.
It is to be noted here that an account is also necessary to have access to other services of the company such as Image Generator AI.
The company had launched ChatGPT in late November 2022.
