Now Google is also testing a new advertising format in Gmail. A report says that Google is testing a new advertising format that will make shopping features directly part of Gmail. This new change focuses on Google s Promotions tab in Gmail, where ads will be presented with a new style of display.

When an ad is clicked, it will open and display images, price, average star rating, and other such details. This new ad format will turn Gmail s Promotions tab into a shopping platform instead of a folder of marketing emails.
The new format s layout feels like a product gallery that encourages users to view ads for multiple products in their inbox. In simple words, Gmail will soon be full of ads and it will be very difficult to filter them.
The report stated that if the trial of this format in Gmail proves successful, it could also be made part of Google Discover and YouTube.
