If the rumors prove true, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max could deliver one of the most significant upgrades in years, leaving the iPhone 16 Pro/Max looking noticeably outdated.
At the heart of the upgrade is the new A19 Pro chip paired with a whopping 12GB of RAM, compared to the iPhone 16’s A18 Pro and 8GB RAM. This jump promises faster performance, smoother multitasking, enhanced gaming, and professional-grade photo and video editing capabilities.

Camera-wise, the iPhone 17 Pro/Max is rumored to feature a 48MP telephoto lens and a 24MP front camera, alongside a redesigned camera module, a huge leap from last year’s 12MP setups. Battery capacity also gets a boost to 5,000mAh with 50W MagSafe charging, doubling the previous charging speed for longer use and faster top-ups.
Design changes include a slightly thicker body at 8.7mm and a shift from a titanium to an aluminum frame, possibly to better accommodate the larger battery and new camera system.
