(Web Desk): Pakistan champions earned their second victory in the World Championship of Legends 2025 by defeating South Africa champions.

According to media reports, in the ongoing world championship of legends 2025 being played in England, Pakistan Champions defeated South Africa Champions by 31 runs on Friday, securing their second consecutive win in the tournament.
South Africa won the toss and chose to bowl first. Pakistan batted strongly, scoring 198 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Openers Sharjeel Khan (19 off 11) and Kamran Akmal (17 off 11) gave a quick start. Captain Mohammad Hafeez could only manage 8 runs.

A crucial 79-run partnership between Shoaib Malik and Umar Amin helped to stabilize the innings. Umar Amin scored a solid 58 off 42 balls, while Shoaib Malik remained unbeaten with 46 off 34 balls. Later, Asif Ali added quick runs, hitting 23 off 11 balls, including 2 sixes and 2 fours. Aamer Yamin contributed with 11 off 4.
South African bowler Duanne Olivier picked up 2 wickets.
In response, South Africa reached 167 for 9 wickets. Their top scorer was Morne van Wyk (44 off 20 balls), followed by Wayne Parnell (21 off 9). Pakistan’s bowling attack kept control, Hafeez and Sohail Tanvir took 2 wickets each, while Rumman Raees, Shoaib Malik, Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz, and Imad Wasim took 1 wicket each.
This was Pakistan s second win in the tournament, after beating England in the opening match. According to the media source, their match against India was cancelled after controversy over Shahid Afridi s participation. Indian players like Shikhar Dhawan, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, and Harbhajan Singh reportedly refused to play. The organizers cancelled the match under media and political pressure
Pakistan’s next match will be played today against West Indies Champions.
