Pakistan, batting first, scored 178 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
For Pakistan, opener Sahibzada Farhan top-scored with 63 runs. Hassan Nawaz scored 33, Muhammad Nawaz 27 and Saim Ayub scored 21 runs. For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed took 3 wickets and Nasum Ahmed took 2 wickets.

In reply, Bangladesh bowled out at just 104 runs in 16.4 overs. Bangladesh s Mohammad Saifuddin stood out with 35 runs while no other batter could show any exceptional performance. Playing his debut series for Pakistan, Salman Mirza took 3 wickets while Muhammad Nawaz and Faheem Ashraf also got 2 wickets each. Sahibzada Farhan was declared man of the match for his top innings.
It should be noted that 5 changes were made in the Bangladesh team while 2 were made in the national team. In the third match, Sahibzada Farhan and Hussain Talat were included in the Pakistani team.
