Babar, Rizwan demoted in latest ICC T20 rankings

DUBAI (Web Desk): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the Men's T20 rankings, in which national cricketers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have dropped one place each.

According to the ICC Men s T20 Batting Rankings, Australia s Travis Head retains the top position, Indian batsman Abhishek Sharma is second and Tilak Verma is third, England s Phil Salt is fourth and Jos Buttler is fifth.

According to the new rankings, India s Yashvi Jaiswal has moved up one place from tenth to ninth, while West Indies  Shai Hope has moved up four places to tenth.

Similarly, Pakistani star batsman Babar Azam has dropped one place to 13th, while Mohammad Rizwan has dropped one place to 14th.

According to the ICC T20 Bowlers Rankings, New Zealand s Jacob Duffy remains in first position, Bangladesh s Mustafizur Rahman is ninth after improving 17 places, India s Arshdeep Singh is tenth after improving one place, while no Pakistani bowler is included in the top ten.

Pakistan s Abbas Afridi has dropped 2 places to 22nd, Haris Rauf has dropped 4 places to 24th, and Shaheen Afridi has dropped 2 places to 36th.

India s Hardik Pandya retains his top position in the T20 all-rounder rankings, while West Indies  Roston Chase has improved 7 places and is now in second place.
