Haas has taken an early lead off the track by unveiling digital images of its 2026 Formula 1 car. The season will bring the biggest rule changes the sport has seen in decades.
The team released digital renders of the new Haas VF26, offering clues about how cars will look under the new regulations. These images were shared publicly earlier this week.
The 2026 cars are smaller and narrower than current models. They follow a new aerodynamic approach aimed at changing how cars race and overtake.

On the Haas car, the most visible changes include a slimmer front wing and a fin running along the engine cover. These features stand out compared to older designs.
Interestingly, a car produced by the new Cadillac team also showed a similar engine-cover fin. That car ran for the first time at Silverstone during a private test.
Cadillac released photos of its car on the track. However, the images were carefully taken from far away or blurred, hiding most design details.

Other teams are staying cautious. Red Bull recently launched its new engine partnership with Ford in Detroit, but the car shown there was only a show car.

That display model carried the team’s new colors but did not reflect the real design of its 2026 challenger.
One senior figure summed up the mood by saying, “It’s going to be a very dynamic season”.
