Quetta (Web Desk): Sohail Tanvir joins Quetta Gladiators as bowling coach after Wahab Riaz exit, bringing new hope for bowlers ahead of PSL matches.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Tanvir has been appointed as the new bowling coach of Quetta Gladiators. This change follows Wahab Riaz's removal from the role.

According to team management, Tanvir will officially join the squad soon. His arrival is expected to strengthen the team’s bowling unit and provide valuable experience to young players.

Quetta Gladiators’ manager Azam Khan said Tanvir’s presence will be a great learning opportunity for the bowlers. His international experience and understanding of T20 cricket could help improve performance during the tournament.

Earlier, Wahab Riaz had been serving as the bowling coach. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board canceled his No Objection Certificate due to his involvement with the women’s cricket setup.

Along with Wahab Riaz, team director Sarfaraz Ahmed was also affected, as his NOC was withdrawn. As a result, the franchise decided to release both officials and bring in new changes.

This sudden coaching shift comes at an important time, as teams prepare for crucial PSL matches. Quetta Gladiators now hope that Tanvir’s inclusion will bring stability and better results.
