He also shared his excitement about joining the league, saying, “Excited to be part of the Pakistan Super League journey.”
PSL 11 is set to begin on March 26, 2026. Faisalabad has been added as an additional venue, bringing top-level cricket back to the city and expanding the league’s reach across Pakistan.
The franchise name pays tribute to the historic domestic team “Sialkot Stallions”, a side remembered for its dominance in Pakistan’s T20 cricket.
Between 2005 and 2012, Sialkot Stallions won six National T20 Cup titles. They also achieved a world-record 25-match unbeaten run, making them the most successful team in domestic T20 history.

The announcement comes shortly after the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed a major change in player selection. PSL 11 will use a player auction system for the first time instead of the traditional draft.
Under the new rules, each franchise can retain up to four players, with only one player allowed in each category. Earlier, teams could retain up to eight players along with additional options.
