Rawalpindi, Islamabad traffic plan changed ahead of Pakistan vs Australia ODIs

Islamabad Traffic Police has issued a special advisory for residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi before the Pakistan vs Australia ODI series. Authorities warned that traffic pressure is expected to increase in both cities due to the upcoming match.

According to the police spokesperson, temporary traffic diversions will be placed on key roads at different times. These routes include Club Road, Murree Road, Expressway, and Srinagar Highway.

Officials said normal traffic flow could face disruptions during diversion hours. Citizens have been advised to plan their travel carefully to avoid delays and congestion.

Residents were asked to leave their homes 20 to 25 minutes earlier than usual. Authorities also encouraged commuters to use service roads and alternative routes whenever possible.

Traffic police personnel will be deployed at multiple locations across the twin cities. Their purpose will be to guide commuters and keep traffic moving smoothly near busy areas.
