(Web Desk): PCB has issued Naseem Shah show-cause notice in PSL 11 controversy after a post raised questions about Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz protocol.

The issue started during the opening ceremony of PSL 11 at Gaddafi Stadium. Chief guest Maryam Nawaz was introduced by Mohsin Naqvi, which led to debate over whether proper protocol was followed.

Soon after, a post appeared on Naseem Shah’s X account questioning the introduction process. The post quickly went viral and triggered strong reactions from fans and media.

Naseem Shah later said his account had been hacked and that he did not share the post himself. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board still issued a show-cause notice to him.

The PCB said the matter could involve violation of contract and media policy. It stressed that all players must follow professional rules and be careful about public communication.

The board also warned that Naseem Shah’s participation in PSL 11 could be affected until the investigation is completed.

Officials added that maintaining discipline, proper conduct, and respect for protocol is very important in a high-profile league like the PSL.

They also pointed out that hacking incidents are increasing, but players must report such issues immediately and take steps to protect their accounts.

The controversy has now become a major topic among fans, raising concerns about communication and professionalism during big events like PSL openings.

The PCB has promised a fair and transparent inquiry while ensuring that the league’s reputation and standards are protected.

This issue shows how one social media post can create a big crisis. Even if hacking is true, players are still held responsible. PCB is trying to send a strong message about discipline. Such incidents can affect a player’s career and team environment.
