PCB announces Pakistan ODI squad for Australia ODI series
The Pakistan ODI squad features a mix of experienced stars and promising young players, creating excitement among cricket fans ahead of the Australia ODI series.
According to the PCB, Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the team, while Salman Ali Agha has been named vice-captain. Senior players including Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, and Sufiyan Muqeem have also been included in the squad.
The selectors have given opportunities to young talents Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas, and Rohail Nazir. Cricket supporters are eager to see how these emerging players perform during the Australia ODI series against a strong Australian team.
Mohammad Ghazi Ghori and Rohail Nazir have been selected as wicketkeeper-batters, providing additional depth and flexibility to the batting lineup.
The PCB confirmed that Usman Khan was not considered for selection due to illness. Meanwhile, Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub continue their rehabilitation programs and remain unavailable because of injuries.
