Pakistan in crisis vs England as 7 wickets fall for just 100

England captain won the toss and chose to bowl first in Birmingham. Pakistan are playing the third and final Test of the series, with England already leading 2-0.

Early wickets put Pakistan in trouble

Saim Ayub and Azan Owais opened the innings for Pakistan. Saim was dismissed without scoring, while Azan Owais failed again and made only 9 runs.

Abdullah Shafique was dismissed for 3 runs by Robinson. Shan Masood was then removed by Archer, while captain Babar Azam returned to the pavilion after scoring 7 runs.

Ghazi Ghori scored 4 runs before losing his wicket. Muhammad Imran was batting on 1 run and was supporting Saud Shakeel.

Saud Shakeel offers some resistance

Saud Shakeel showed some control during the difficult innings and scored 37 runs from 34 balls. His innings included 6 boundaries and provided Pakistan with some much-needed resistance.

Pakistan have also included three players making their Test debuts in the match. Ghazi Ghori, Razaullah and Imran Randhawa were included in the playing XI.

Three players make Test debuts

Saud Shakeel presented Ghazi Ghori with his Test cap. Muhammad Abbas gave the Test cap to Razaullah, while Babar Azam presented the cap to Imran Randhawa.

The match is particularly important for Pakistan as England have already taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-Test series. Pakistan now face the difficult task of avoiding a clean sweep in the final match.

Pakistan’s early collapse has once again put the team under pressure. Losing 7 wickets for only 91 runs makes it difficult to build a strong first-innings total.

Saud Shakeel’s innings has given Pakistan some hope, but the remaining batters will need to stay at the crease for a long time. England’s bowlers have used the opportunity well and have kept Pakistan under constant pressure.
