Pakistan and West Indies unveil Test series trophy

Pakistan captain Babar Azam and West Indies captain Roston Chase jointly unveiled the trophy during a ceremony at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. Both captains also posed for photographs ahead of the highly anticipated series.

The two-match series is part of the 2025–2027 ICC World Test Championship, with both teams aiming to secure valuable points to strengthen their positions in the standings.

Pakistan arrived in the Caribbean after completing its tour of England, while the West Indies will look to make full use of home advantage as they continue their World Test Championship campaign.

The first Test will begin on July 25 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad, with the second match scheduled to be played later in the series. The opening Test will also mark a historic milestone, as the Brian Lara Cricket Academy is set to host its first-ever Test match.

The venue has previously hosted international limited-overs matches and regional first-class fixtures, but it has never staged a Test match. Cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the series, with both teams hoping to make a strong start and gain valuable momentum in the race for crucial World Test Championship points.
