LAHORE (Web Desk): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the venues for the highly anticipated 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The mega event is set to take place from February 7 to March 8, 2026, with India and Sri Lanka as co-hosts.

According to the reports, India’s venues include Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai, while Sri Lanka’s venues include Colombo and Kandy.

The grand finale of the tournament will be held at the world’s largest cricket stadium, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Under an agreement between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Pakistan will play all its scheduled matches in Sri Lanka.

This arrangement ensures that the neutrality clause is maintained for all multi-nation ICC events.

If Pakistan reaches the final, the match will be moved from India to Sri Lanka to comply with the agreement.

This decision also means that Pakistani fans will witness their team play in familiar subcontinental conditions, similar to their successful campaigns in Asia in recent years.

The tournament format will remain the same as the 2024 edition, with 20 teams divided into four groups of five.

The top two teams from each group will move to the Super Eight stage, where the top two from each group will progress to the semi-finals. The final match will crown the world champions.
