Fakhar Zaman joins United Tigers for Abu Dhabi T10
Pakistan’s experienced left-handed batter Fakhar Zaman has been signed by newly established franchise United Tigers for the 2026 Abu Dhabi T10.
The franchise confirmed that the 36-year-old batter will serve as its icon player during its debut season.
United Tigers and the Abu Dhabi T10 announced the signing on social media as the new franchise prepares for its first campaign in the tournament.
“United Tigers have secured the experienced Fakhar Zaman as their icon for the 2026 Abu Dhabi T10,” the announcement said.

Fakhar has represented Pakistan in three Tests, 92 ODIs and 120 T20Is. He has also spent several years playing in major franchise competitions around the world.
The left-handed batter has featured in the Pakistan Super League, International League T20, Caribbean Premier League, Big Bash League, Lanka Premier League, Bangladesh Premier League and England’s Vitality Blast.
His experience across different leagues has given him exposure to various playing conditions and short-format competitions. That experience could prove valuable for United Tigers as the franchise enters the fast-paced T10 format for the first time.

Fakhar has played 340 T20 matches during his career and scored 8,978 runs. His T20 record includes four centuries and 61 half-centuries. The figures highlight his extensive experience in franchise and short-format cricket.
