Perth (Suno News): Pakistan outclassed Australia by eight wickets in the third and deciding match of ODI series at Perth.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first against Australia in the deciding contest of three-match series ODI.

Pakistan s batting lineup delivered a stunning performance, chasing down Australia s 140 runs target with the loss of just two wickets. Saim Ayub led the charge with 42 runs, followed closely by Abdullah Shafique s 37. Mohammad Rizwan scored 30 and Babar Azam scored 28runs who remained unbeaten, guiding their team to a convincing victory.

Pakistani bowlers’ stunning performance claimed wickets, restricting Australia to 140 runs.

Thus, the host set 141 runs target for Pakistan to the deciding match in Perth.

Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi claimed three wickets each. Haris Rauf sent two players to the pavilion, and Hasnain claimed one wicket.

Pakistan is confident to beat Australia in a one-day series on their home ground for the first time in 22 years. Pakistan won an ODI series in Australia in 2002.

The three-match ODI series is currently tied 1-1. Australia won the first match by two wickets, while Pakistan dominated the second match with their bowling attack.

In finale match, Australia s batting lineup faltered, with Sean Abbott topping the scorecard with 30 runs. Other notable contributors were Matt Short (22), Adam Zampa (13), Spenser Johnson (12), and Aaron Hardie (12). Six Australian batsmen, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Cooper Connolly, and Lance Morris failed to reach double digit.
