Muhammad Rizwan shares heartfelt message for KPK flood victims

(Web Desk): National cricket team wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan has posted an emotional message to those affected by the recent rains and floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Torrential rains and floods have wreaked havoc in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where more than 300 people have died so far, dozens are missing, and infrastructure has also been severely damaged.

Cricketer Muhammad Rizwan has issued an emotional message to the public on social media regarding the poor situation in the province.

Muhammad Rizwan wrote, "My deepest prayers and love to the people of Khyber Pakthunkhwa. The images and stories coming out of the floods are heartbreaking. To everyone affected, please know that you are not alone."

The national cricketer appealed to the public and wrote, " I urge everyone to come forward, donate, and support the relief efforts. Every little bit can make a difference."

On the other hand, fast bowler Shaheen Afridi also expressed his condolences to the families affected by the flood and appealed to the public to please provide all possible help to the flood-affected people. We are all standing together in this difficult time.

It should be remembered that more than 300 people have died and dozens have been injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to rains, floods, landslides, and lightning strikes.

The homes of residents in Buner have been destroyed, there are piles of debris and large stones washed away by the floodwaters everywhere. Relief operations by the PDMA, Pakistan Army, district administration, rescue and local volunteers are ongoing in the affected areas.

A state of emergency has been imposed in Swat, Buner, Bajaur, Torghar, Mansehra, Shangla, Dir and Battagram until August 31.
