The allocation was shared by District Sports Officer (DSO) Tanveer during a briefing to Deputy Commissioner Asad Sarwar. The briefing took place during a visit to the proposed site of the project.
During the visit, the deputy commissioner inspected the location and issued clear instructions. He directed officials to ensure that an access road from the Indus Highway is included in the project design.
Officials informed the deputy commissioner that the total estimated cost of the sports complex stands at Rs.657.169 million. This amount includes construction and related development expenses.

The cost of land acquisition alone is more than Rs.186.879 million. Authorities said this amount will soon be transferred to the land acquisition collector in Karak.
The briefing also covered land availability, legal formalities, and the next steps needed to move the project forward smoothly.
Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner said the sports complex will offer better facilities to young people. He added that it will help promote healthy activities and sports culture in the district.
