LAHORE (Web Desk): The 21st Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) International Cholistan Desert Rally schedule has been announced, setting the stage for high-speed racing in Pakistan’s desert heartland.

The 21st TDCP International Cholistan Desert Rally will be held from February 4 to February 8, 2026, in the vast Cholistan Desert near Bahawalpur.

The event is expected to once again bring thrilling motorsport action to the region. Racing fans from across Pakistan are likely to travel to Cholistan to witness the intense competition.

Organized by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), the rally will feature both national and international drivers. Racers will compete across tough desert tracks that test speed, skill, and endurance.

Beyond motorsport, the rally plays a key role in promoting tourism. It highlights local culture, traditions, and hospitality while boosting economic activity in South Punjab.

Over the years, the Cholistan Desert Rally has grown into a major public and media event. Thousands of spectators attend every year, making it one of Pakistan’s most recognized sporting festivals.

In a statement issued earlier, TDCP Managing Director Asim Raza said the rally has developed continuously for over two decades. He described it as the largest desert rally in South Asia.

He added that the event has made a strong contribution to Pakistan’s tourism sector. He also said TDCP is working on a forward-looking strategy to promote Punjab’s tourism potential at both national and international levels.
