Pakistan’s Aamir Khan wins gold in International Taekwondo Championship

BANGKOK: (Web Desk) Pakistan’s international Taekwondo player Aamir Khan won the gold medal in the 7th International Taekwondo Championship held in Bangkok.

There were three rounds of the championship held in Bangkok in which Aamir Khan of Mingora, Swat, defeated India in the first round, Nepal in the second and Philippines in the third and final round.

While talking to the media in Bangkok, Aamir Khan said that he is very happy that Allah Almighty has given him success, and he won gold for Pakistan. He dedicated his gold medal to the people of Swat.

It should be noted here that before Aamir Khan, Arshad Nadeem won a gold medal for Pakistan in the Paris Olympics 2024.

He beat defending champion Neeraj Chopra of India to clinch Pakistan’s first Olympic medal in athletics.

Nadeem threw his arms up in celebration after breaking the Olympic record on his second throw with a stunning 92.97 metres that put him sixth on the all-time list.
