Pakistan weather today: Hot and dry spell continues with heatwave expected
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a detailed weather outlook for the country, warning of continued hot and dry conditions across most regions.
In Lahore, early morning sunshine was recorded with a temperature of 31°C, humidity at 35 percent, and wind speed around 11 km/h. Weather experts expect the maximum temperature to reach up to 42°C, with no rainfall predicted in the coming days.
Lahore Weather: Rising Heat and Dry Conditions
The weather in Lahore is becoming increasingly intense as temperatures continue to rise. Officials forecast a hot and dry spell, with minimum temperatures around 28°C and significantly higher daytime heat expected.
Meteorologists confirmed that no rain is likely in the near future, further increasing the chances of a prolonged heatwave in the region.

Islamabad Weather: Above Normal Temperatures Expected
In Islamabad, weather conditions are also expected to remain hot and dry. The capital is likely to experience temperatures around 4°C above normal levels.
Morning temperature was recorded at 26°C, while daytime highs may reach up to 36°C. Winds are expected to remain light during the morning hours, contributing to the rising heat intensity.
Karachi Weather: Humid and Hot Conditions Persist
In Karachi, clear skies and strong sunshine continue to dominate weather patterns. The city is experiencing humid conditions, with current temperatures around 28°C and a “feels-like” temperature reaching up to 31°C.
Humidity levels have risen to approximately 75 percent, with winds blowing from the west at 8 km/h. The maximum temperature is expected to remain between 35°C and 37°C.
Despite the heat, the air quality index in Karachi remains within a satisfactory range.
Weather Outlook for Other Regions
According to the weather department, similar dry conditions are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. No significant rainfall activity is forecast across these regions, while temperatures are likely to remain stable or slightly increase in the coming days.
