Most parts of Pakistan are expected to experience dry weather during the next 12 hours, while daytime temperatures are likely to remain high in the plains, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). Northern hilly areas may see partly cloudy conditions during the afternoon.

Islamabad is expected to remain hot and dry, with the temperature likely to reach 35°C. Karachi will remain hot and humid, with the maximum temperature forecast between 37°C and 39°C.

Rain chances emerge in Balochistan

Most parts of Balochistan are expected to remain hot and dry. However, light rain is possible in Barkhan, Musakhel, Ziarat, Harnai, Zhob, Sherani and Khuzdar.

Strong winds are also possible in some areas, adding to the changing weather conditions.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may see showers

Peshawar is expected to remain partly cloudy and dry, with the temperature likely to rise to 34°C.

Most plain districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to remain hot and humid. However, light drizzle is expected in Nowshera, Kohat, Hangu, Kurram, Bajaur and Mohmand.

Rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is also possible in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla and Abbottabad.

Light rain accompanied by strong winds is further expected in Khyber, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan and Waziristan.

The latest forecast follows a pattern of hot and humid conditions across much of the country, with isolated rain continuing in northern and western areas.
