The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and dry weather in Lahore, with the temperature expected to reach 37°C on Thursday.

The city recorded a minimum temperature of 27°C, while no rain is expected during the day. Winds are blowing at around 5 km/h, with humidity recorded at 63%.

The latest weather coverage also shows Lahore remaining warm, with temperatures around 36°C and humidity near 63%.

Islamabad rain forecast

Islamabad is expected to remain hot and dry during most of the day, but rain may occur at some places during the evening or night.

The capital recorded a morning temperature of 25°C, which is expected to rise to 36°C during the day. Winds may reach 7 km/h, while humidity remains above 55%.

Current weather updates also indicate warm conditions in Islamabad, with temperatures reaching around 38°C.

Northern areas may see rain

Partly cloudy weather is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Kashmir may also remain partly cloudy, with rain possible at some locations.

The weather outlook comes as Pakistan continues to experience varying rainfall and temperature patterns across different regions. PMD has previously forecast higher-than-normal temperatures and below-normal rainfall for much of the country during the July-September period.

Karachi weather stays pleasant

Karachi recorded a temperature of 27°C, with the maximum expected to reach 34°C. Winds are making conditions relatively pleasant in the city.

The city’s air quality was also described as satisfactory, with the concentration of polluted particles remaining below 100 particulate matter units.
