The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and humid weather across most plain areas of the country. Partly cloudy conditions with rain are expected in parts of Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The latest forecast shows that weather conditions will remain different across the country, with major urban centres experiencing high temperatures while some northern areas could receive showers.

Karachi weather and drizzle

In Karachi, partly cloudy weather is expected to continue, with a chance of light drizzle at a few locations during the night. The maximum temperature is likely to remain around 34°C, while humidity will stay relatively high.

The city is also expected to experience southwest winds, with temperatures and humidity keeping conditions warm and uncomfortable. Recent weather coverage has similarly highlighted the possibility of nighttime drizzle and temperatures in the mid-30s.

Islamabad temperature forecast

Islamabad is expected to remain hot and dry, with the temperature reaching around 36°C during the day. No significant rainfall is expected in the federal capital during the next 24 hours.

The capital recorded a morning temperature of about 25°C, while daytime temperatures are forecast to rise significantly. Moderate winds are also expected to continue during the day.

Rain chances in northern areas

Meanwhile, residents of Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan may see partly cloudy weather and rain at several locations. The PMD has maintained that most plain areas will remain hot and humid.
