Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a weather update for the next 24 hours, forecasting hot and dry conditions across most parts of Pakistan with no chances of rain.
In Lahore, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry, with temperatures rising up to 37°C. Winds will blow at a speed of around 5 km/h, while humidity levels are likely to stay near 64%, adding to the discomfort.
Similarly, Islamabad will experience warm and dry weather. However, strong winds are expected to develop later in the afternoon. The morning temperature was recorded at 19°C, with daytime highs likely to reach 33°C. Wind speeds may remain around 3 km/h, and humidity levels have been recorded above 60%.
The department also stated that regions including Kashmir region, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will continue to see dry weather. However, partly cloudy conditions are expected in upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the evening.

In Karachi, temperatures are also expected to touch 37°C, with humidity levels rising to 80%. Sea breeze from the southwest has begun to flow at around 4 km/h, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25°C.
Meanwhile, air quality in Karachi has worsened, with AQI levels crossing 100 particulate matter, indicating unhealthy conditions for residents.
