The Meteorological Department issued an advisory noting that over the next day most regions will stay cold and dry. In the plains of Punjab, some smog and light fog are expected, while Murree and the Galliyat region will remain cold and dry. Islamabad is expected to stay dry, with morning and night chill.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts will be dry, with cold conditions likely in the mountains. Sindh is expected to stay hot and dry, while northern districts of Balochistan will be cold. Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan are likely to see cold and dry weather.

Officials added that in the last 24 hours the country mostly had dry weather, with a few districts in Punjab reporting light smog. The lowest temperature recorded was minus 5C in Leh. Kalām, Skardu and Ziarat saw around minus 3C. Islamabad recorded a low of 6C and a high of 29C.
The forecast shows broad consistency: cold and dry in most areas, with pockets of fog and smog in Punjab. Mountain regions will feel sharper cold. People should expect chilly nights and cool mornings, especially in the north.
