According to the weather forecast, a new system has entered the provinces, which will lead to downpour across Punjab and KP till March 16. PMD stated that the system will bring rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall in mountainous areas.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMA) in Punjab and K-P have directed district administrations to stay on high alert and implement precautionary measures to prevent any accidents or damage due to heavy rainfall or snowfall.

PDMA K-P has directed officials to ensure that machinery and resources are available in vulnerable areas. In the meantime, farmers have been advised to take the weather forecast into account when planning agricultural activities.
