PMD forecasts cold weather in most parts of country
LAHORE (Web Desk): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and dry weather for most parts of the country.

The department also forecast very cold weather in mountainous regions during the next twelve hours. Moderate to dense fog in patches is expected to engulf northeastern part of Punjab.

It forecast that frost is likely to occur at a few places in Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region and upper part of Punjab.

Temperature recorded in Islamabad at 3°C, Lahore at 8°C, Karachi at 9°C, Peshawar at 4°C, Quetta at -3°C, Gilgit 0°C, Murree at 1°C and Muzaffarabad at 2°C.

According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir will experience cold and dry weather, according to weather forecast.

During the last 24 hours, most parts of the country experienced cold weather, while very cold in hilly areas. Dense fog persisted in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
