The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that Karachi will experience hot and humid conditions throughout Thursday, 4 September 2025.
While most of the day will remain dry, there is a slight chance of rain-wind or thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon or evening.
According to PMD, moist currents from the Arabian Sea are entering lower Sindh, increasing the humidity and the chance of scattered rainfall in Karachi and nearby areas.
These showers, if they occur, are expected to be brief and isolated, offering temporary relief from the heat.
Throughout today, Karachi will experience varying levels of heat and humidity. The morning hours (6 AM to 12 PM) will start off warm and humid, with temperatures ranging between 26°C and 30°C, along with intervals of sunshine.
As we move into the afternoon (12 PM to 4 PM), the heat will intensify, reaching 32°C to 34°C, and the air will feel particularly sticky.
There’s also a slight chance of light rain or a thundercloud forming during this period.
By the evening (4 PM to 8 PM), temperatures will ease slightly to 30°C to 32°C, with possible isolated showers or brief thunderstorms in some areas.
The night (after 8 PM) will remain warm and partly cloudy, with temperatures staying around 28°C to 29°C.
