
The rains that have been continuing for the past two days have made the weather extremely bad. Fog in the upper areas has reduced visibility, severely affecting the flow of traffic.
The district administration has warned that the risk of landslides has increased, so citizens should stay away from rivers and mountain slopes.

The administration says that unnecessary travel should be avoided and if travel is unavoidable, it is mandatory to use fog lights in vehicles to avoid accidents. Tourists have been advised to stay in especially safe places.
Locals have also been advised to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary movement. Currently, roads in various areas of Murree are slippery and traffic has been partially suspended at many places.
According to the Meteorological Department, rains are likely to continue in the next few days, which could worsen the situation.
The district administration has set up a control room for emergencies and citizens have been instructed to contact them immediately in case of any emergency.
