Rescue sources said that the person driving the car that was swept away in the storm drain was identified as retired Colonel Ishaq Qazi, who was riding in the car with his 25-year-old daughter.

Rescue sources say that Ishaq Qazi left home with his daughter in a gray car, where the car stalled due to rainwater accumulating on a nearby road. Ishaq Qazi was trying to start the car when the water flow accelerated.

According to rescue sources, due to the rapid flow of water, both the father and daughter were swept away in the storm drain, after which the police, housing society staff, Rescue 1122 and a diving team have started searching for the two.
