As smog choked both provinces, the residents of the Punjab and KP are facing difficulties and experiencing ailments including throat infections, eyes burning. Bilawal suggested them to move to Karachi for better air quality.
Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari shared the latest AQI rankings on his social media handle, revealing that Peshawar sits atop among the most polluted cities with a staggering reading of 591, followed closely by Multan at 573. Lahore and Rawalpindi are not much better, with readings of 479 and 302 respectively.
However, Air Quality Index (AQI) in Karachi was recorded at 78. It is pertinent to note that health experts consider Karachi’s AQI acceptable, saying that AQI readings between 51 and 100 can pose a moderate health concern for a very small number of individuals.
