
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted heavy rains from today to July 5, with the possibility of urban flooding in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in Azad Kashmir, Islamabad and Potohar. There is a risk of flooding in the low-lying areas of Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum.
In addition, heavy rains are also expected in Peshawar, Charsadda, and Nowshera. Warnings of flooding and landslides have been issued in the rivers and canals of upper areas including Hazara and Malakand.

At least 50 deaths have been reported across the country in last three days due to heavy rains. Roof collaspses and electrocution have also been reported at various places being the major causes of these deaths. Only Karachi has reported seven deaths due to ongoing situation.
The Prime Minister directed the authorities to take precautionary measures. The Chairman of NDMA said in a video message that there is a risk of flooding in the coming days, and citizens should follow precautionary measures.
