He added that Moscow and Islamabad were also working together on important regional and global issues. The Russian president expressed confidence that the two countries would continue to strengthen their bilateral partnership for the mutual benefit of their peoples.
Bahrain crown prince congratulates Pakistan
Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also extended Independence Day greetings to Pakistan. He conveyed his felicitations to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the occasion.
