Sui Southern Gas Company has announced a special gas supply schedule for Eidul Azha to facilitate consumers during the festive holidays.

According to the company, extra gas hours have been arranged to help families manage cooking and other domestic needs during Eid days, when gas demand usually rises sharply.

Under the announced schedule, gas supply on Tuesday, May 26, will continue until 12 midnight to support Eid preparations.

Extended supply during Eid holidays

The company stated that on May 27 and 28, gas supply will remain available continuously from 7:30am until 12 midnight.

Meanwhile, on Friday, May 29, consumers will receive gas from 7:30am to 10pm. The company added that the normal gas load management schedule will resume from May 30.

Officials said the special arrangement was introduced due to increased gas consumption during Eidul Azha, particularly for cooking and post-sacrifice cleaning activities.

Consumers advised to avoid wastage

SSGC urged consumers to avoid unnecessary gas usage so supply can be maintained smoothly across all areas.

The company also advised citizens to use gas appliances carefully and immediately report any leakage or emergency situation to relevant authorities.

Officials emphasized that providing maximum convenience to consumers during Eidul Azha remains the company’s top priority.
