(Web Desk): Six-hour gas loadshedding even during Eid days has been announced by Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), revealing daily schedule.

In Karachi, Sui Southern Gas Company has issued a special gas supply plan for Eid ul Fitr to manage rising demand during the festive days.

According to the company, gas supply will remain uninterrupted from Chand Raat until midnight on Eid night. This is expected to provide relief to households preparing for celebrations.

However, on the first and second days of Eid, gas supply will be suspended from 12:00am to 6:00am. After that, gas will be available from 6:00am to 12:00am on both days.

On the third day of Eid, gas supply hours will be slightly reduced. It will be available from 6:00am to 10:00pm, after which supply will be stopped again during late night hours.

The company spokesperson said that after Eid, the gas supply system will return to the regular schedule that was in place before ramazan.

SSGC has urged citizens to use gas carefully during Eid and avoid unnecessary usage so that all consumers can benefit from available supply.

Officials also confirmed that helplines and complaint centers will remain active during Eid to assist people in case of any emergency.

Authorities explained that gas demand increases sharply during Eid, making load management necessary. They added that efforts are being made to provide maximum relief through better planning.

Gas demand rises a lot during Eid days. That is why loadshedding cannot be avoided. The schedule gives some relief but still has limits. Careful use can help everyone get better supply.
