Safe City project: Karachi police blacklist 40,000 vehicles
Sindh police, under the Safe City project, have blacklisted around 40,000 vehicles in Karachi and announced that enforcement action will begin from July 1.
According to police officials, the blacklisted vehicles include those that were sold but not transferred to the names of new owners. Vehicles with incomplete ownership records or unpaid government dues have also been added to the list.
Authorities said the final list has been prepared, and such vehicles may be impounded. Heavy fines may also be imposed on owners who fail to comply with the rules.

Officials said the move aims to improve record accuracy, ensure proper vehicle registration compliance, and strengthen enforcement under the Safe City initiative.
