Distribution of Rs 10,000 financial assistance through Ramadan Nigahban Cards is underway in Lahore to support deserving families.

The district administration, under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, is conducting door-to-door distribution of Ramadan cards to ensure timely financial assistance to eligible citizens. Teams have been deployed across the city to make the process transparent and accessible.

According to officials, strict action has been taken against complaints regarding commission charges. Authorities sealed six shops after receiving reports of illegal deductions and also registered cases against those responsible. The administration has made it clear that exploitation of beneficiaries will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to complete the distribution process with full transparency and efficiency. Authorities confirmed that more than 61,000 Ramadan Nigahban Cards have already been delivered to deserving households in Lahore.

Officials stated that monitoring teams remain active at every level to ensure fair distribution of funds. The initiative aims to provide direct relief to low-income families during the holy month of Ramadan and prevent middlemen from misusing the system.

An official representative said the administration is closely supervising the process to guarantee accountability and equal access for all eligible citizens.

The program is expected to continue until full coverage of identified beneficiaries is achieved.
