Under the new plan, registration and transfer fees for motorcycles have been completely waived across the province. This means people will no longer have to pay these charges when buying or transferring bikes.
In addition, every registered motorcycle owner will receive a monthly subsidy of Rs2,000. This amount will be provided regularly to help cover fuel and daily travel expenses.
The package also includes a fuel subsidy. Eligible motorcycle owners will get a discount of Rs100 per litre on up to 20 litres of petrol each month. This is expected to significantly lower monthly fuel costs.
To make the process easier, the government has provided multiple ways to apply. People can register through the 1000 helpline, the “Maryam Ko Batain” mobile app, or the official government website.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said the government is working hard to reduce the financial pressure on citizens. She added that this package is part of broader efforts to provide relief during tough economic times.
Officials also shared that motorcycle data has already been collected and shared with relevant authorities. A digital wallet system will be created for each eligible user to ensure the smooth and direct transfer of subsidies.
The government believes this initiative will benefit a large number of low- and middle-income citizens who depend on motorcycles for work and daily commuting.
