PTI backs SC order on Imran’s transfer, urges workers to stay away
Speaking to the media at Parliament House, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said the party accepted the court’s decision and wanted Imran Khan to be shifted to the hospital without delay.
Gohar said PTI would fully comply with the Supreme Court’s directions and urged party workers and supporters not to gather outside the hospital.
Gohar urges supporters to stay away
Gohar said supporters should avoid the hospital to ensure that Imran Khan’s treatment is not disrupted.
He said the party wanted the medical process to continue peacefully and would not allow gatherings outside the facility to create difficulties for patients or medical staff.
The PTI chairman also said the party would not use Imran Khan’s health for political purposes.
He added that medical reports concerning the PTI founder’s health should not be used for personal or political interests.
PTI pledges not to politicise Imran Khan’s health
PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja also assured supporters that the party would not politicise Imran Khan’s health under any circumstances.
Raja said he had assured the Supreme Court that PTI would not organise gatherings or create disorder outside the hospital.
He stressed that the party must honour its commitment to the court.
Raja also urged PTI supporters to remain peaceful and avoid any activity that could interfere with Imran Khan’s treatment.
PTI raises Bushra Bibi’s medical needs
Gohar also called for former first lady Bushra Bibi’s medical needs to be addressed similarly. He said she should also be provided with appropriate medical facilities.
The demand came as PTI leaders discussed medical arrangements and the Supreme Court’s directions concerning Imran Khan. The party has maintained that medical issues should be handled according to the needs of the individuals concerned.
KP chief minister welcomes development
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi also welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision. He expressed gratitude to God and called for further decisions based on justice.

PTI asks workers to avoid hospital gatherings
The party’s leadership has made it clear that supporters should not gather outside Shifa International Hospital. The appeal is aimed at preventing disruption during Imran Khan’s treatment and ensuring that the court’s directions are followed.
PTI leaders have also emphasised the importance of respecting the ruling after giving assurances to the Supreme Court. The party’s position could help reduce the possibility of demonstrations or large gatherings around the hospital during the transfer.
What happens next?
The immediate focus is on implementing the Supreme Court’s order and shifting Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital within the specified timeframe. PTI leaders have pledged cooperation and asked workers to avoid any activity that could interfere with the process.
The government and relevant authorities will now have to make the necessary security and medical arrangements for the transfer. PTI’s next challenge will be to ensure that its supporters follow the leadership’s instructions and respect the court’s ruling.
