Private Hajj Scheme 2027: 15,000 seats remain as bookings reach 80%
Private Hajj bookings increase
Bookings under the Pakistan Private Hajj Scheme 2027 have increased since the government’s Hajj scheme completed its booking process. The Ministry of Religious Affairs said private pilgrims had deposited Rs57.5 billion towards their payments.
Of this amount, Rs30 billion was received through 1LINK PSID payments and bank cards, while Rs27.5 billion came through manual bank challans. These figures show the amount collected through the two payment methods.
Only 15,000 seats remain
The ministry’s spokesperson has urged people planning to perform Hajj through the private scheme to complete their bookings soon. The spokesperson warned that the remaining seats could fill quickly because demand has increased.
The number of available places is now limited, with around 80% of the private scheme’s seats already booked. Applicants should check availability and complete the required process before the deadline.
Sacrifice cost included in package
The ministry said the cost of animal sacrifice for Hajj 2027 is Rs55,000 and has already been included in the private Hajj package. Pilgrims should review their selected package to understand the costs covered.
The deadline to select a private Hajj package and complete payments is November 20, 2026, according to the previously announced arrangements. Applicants should complete all required steps before this date.
Use official booking channels
The ministry has directed pilgrims to book through the official Hajj Portal or the Pak Hajj mobile application. It has warned that payments made directly to individuals or companies outside the approved system will be made at the pilgrims’ own risk.
The ministry will not be responsible for financial losses resulting from payments made outside the authorised process. Applicants have also been advised to confirm that their Hajj organiser is approved by the ministry before sending money.
With only 15,000 seats left, people planning to perform Hajj through the private scheme should check availability and avoid delaying their applications. They should also use official booking channels and verify their organisers to reduce the risk of losing money.
The November 20, 2026 deadline is important for package selection and payment completion. Pilgrims should confirm the latest requirements through the ministry’s official channels before making payments.
