The case was registered at Taxila Police Station after the child’s family approached police with claims involving supernatural beings. According to sources, police formally recorded the FIR based on the father’s statement.
The missing child, 11-year-old Suraqa Al Saif, left his home and did not return. After waiting several days and finding no trace of the boy, his father decided to seek legal help.
In the FIR, the complainant said his son went outside the house and was allegedly abducted by “jinns”. He told police that similar incidents had happened before, claiming the boy had been taken by supernatural beings in the past as well.

According to the father, in earlier incidents, his son returned home safely after some time. This time, however, days passed with no information, and the child remained missing.
Police officials noted that the case drew attention because of the unusual allegations mentioned in the complaint. Despite the nature of the claim, police registered the case under kidnapping laws.
A similar incident was reported earlier in Lahore, where a married woman went missing and her mother also filed a kidnapping case against “jinns”, sparking public debate.
