According to sources, the pre-Hajj flight operation will begin on April 18 and continue until May 21. During this period, special flights will be operated to Madinah and Jeddah in the first phase.
PIA plans to operate a total of 202 flights, through which more than 60,000 pilgrims will be transported to Saudi Arabia. This reflects the scale of the operation and the growing number of people preparing for Hajj.
Out of the total pilgrims, around 49,000 will travel under the government Hajj scheme, while approximately 11,000 will perform Hajj through private arrangements. This shows balanced participation from both public and private sectors.

The airline will operate direct flights from major cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, Quetta, Faisalabad, and Multan, making travel easier for pilgrims across the country.
For this operation, PIA will use its Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 aircraft to manage the high number of passengers efficiently.
Sources added that the post-Hajj operation will start on May 30 and continue until June 30, ensuring the safe return of pilgrims after completing their religious journey.
