Pakistan Railways sets launch date of Awam Express ahead of Eidul Azha

The government has decided to relaunch the Awam Express as part of efforts to improve the railway system. The move also aims to manage increased passenger demand during the holiday season.

According to officials, the Awam Express has been fully upgraded to offer a modern travel experience. The service is designed to provide better comfort, improved speed, and higher quality for passengers.

Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi will inaugurate before Eidul Azha. He said the train will now complete its route to Karachi in less time than before. He added that the focus is on improving efficiency and making travel more convenient for passengers.

He further stated that the upgrade is part of wider reforms in Pakistan Railways. These reforms aim to improve safety standards, enhance facilities, and raise the overall quality of service.
