Pakistan launches passport home delivery service
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGI&P) has launched the passport home delivery service in partnership with TCS.
The initiative has been introduced on the directions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi as part of the government’s efforts to make passport-related services more convenient, faster, and accessible for people across the country.
The announcement was made during a meeting at the Immigration and Passports Headquarters between Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa and a TCS delegation led by Chief Executive Officer Hassan Raza Laghari.
Under the new arrangement, TCS has been appointed as the official delivery partner of the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports.
After completing the passport application process, applicants can now choose the passport home delivery service to have their passports delivered directly to their doorstep instead of collecting them from passport offices.
Officials said the new facility is expected to reduce unnecessary visits to passport offices, save applicants valuable time, and provide a safer and more reliable way to receive passports.

The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports said the initiative is part of wider public service reforms being introduced under the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
The government aims to improve the quality of passport services by making them more efficient and citizen-friendly.
The latest move follows other recent reforms, including the introduction of cashless services at passport offices, as authorities continue working to modernize passport facilities across Pakistan.
