Pakistan Hajj mission releases key shuttle service instructions
The Pakistan Hajj Mission has issued important shuttle service guidelines for Hajj pilgrims residing in Al-Aziziyah, Makkah, to ensure smooth transportation and timely arrival for prayers at Masjid al-Haram.
Pilgrims have been strictly instructed to reach the Haram at least 30 minutes before the Azan (call to prayer) to participate in congregational نماز without disruption.
Shuttle Service Suspension Before Azan
According to the advisory, the dedicated shuttle service transporting pilgrims from residential areas to Haram is:
- Fully suspended 30 minutes before every Azan
- Implemented to manage traffic congestion and control overcrowding near Haram
Pilgrims are strongly advised to leave their accommodations well in advance to avoid missing transport and facing delays.
Recommended Travel Time for Pilgrims
To ensure a smooth journey, the Pakistan Hajj Mission recommends:
- Departing via shuttle buses at least one hour before Azan
- Planning ahead to secure space inside Haram before prayer begins
This approach helps pilgrims reach the mosque comfortably, find their place in prayer rows, and engage in worship peacefully.
