LAHORE (Web Desk): Pakistan has issued visas to 737 Indian Sikh pilgrims for the annual religious festival, scheduled from June 10 to June 19.

Pakistan has granted visas to 737 Sikh pilgrims from India, allowing them to travel to the country and participate in annual religious celebrations taking place from June 10 to June 19.

According to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, the visas have been issued to Sikh yatrees who will visit Pakistan to attend various religious events, ceremonies, and gatherings during the festival period.

Officials said the pilgrims will participate in significant religious rituals and visit sacred Sikh sites across Pakistan as part of the annual celebrations. The High Commission stated that the issuance of visas reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to facilitate religious tourism and provide opportunities for pilgrims to visit their holy places.

Authorities added that the annual festival serves as an important occasion for Sikh devotees, who travel from different parts of India to participate in religious activities and pay homage at historic sites.
