Pakistan and Kashmir: Imagine the crescent and star

A beauty as heavenly as paradise to behold.

Pakistan resides deep within my heart,

And Kashmir beats within my every heartbeat.

When innocent blood is shed there,

Tears begin to flow from our eyes here.

Strange is the bond that ties that land

To the sacred soil of Pakistan.

When the people of Kashmir are wounded,

A deep ache rises within our very being.

When the call of truth echoes

Through the vastness of the skies,

All forces of falsehood shall tremble,

And tremble in fear.

Thus shall the dawn arise

Upon my Kashmir,

And the dark shadows of oppression

Shall gradually disappear
