Islamabad (Web Desk): Over 10,000 Pakistanis return from Iran via Taftan Border amid rising regional tensions, with smooth security and immigration arrangements in place.

More than 10,000 Pakistanis have returned from Iran through the Taftan Border as regional tensions continue to rise. Authorities have ensured proper immigration processing and security measures to manage the inflow of returning citizens.

According to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) spokesperson Muhammad Bahram Khan, border management at Taftan has been strengthened and is fully operational. He said arrangements have been made to handle passengers in an organized and efficient manner.

Since February 28, a total of 10,619 people have entered Pakistan through the Taftan crossing. These include citizens, students, pilgrims, and other travelers returning due to the evolving situation in the region.

Officials said that returning individuals are being provided with necessary facilities at the border. Security personnel are also present to ensure the safety of passengers and maintain order during the process.

Muhammad Bahram Khan added that FIA staff are working round the clock to complete immigration checks, document verification, and clearance procedures without delay. Efforts are being made to keep the process smooth and hassle-free.

He further said that coordination between federal and provincial authorities remains strong to manage the movement of people safely. The focus is on ensuring proper screening while maintaining an organized flow at the border.

The continued return of Pakistanis highlights the impact of regional instability, as many travelers have decided to come back due to uncertain conditions in Iran and nearby areas. Authorities remain alert to handle any further arrivals efficiently.
